Notes on 'Vendetta II', CIV2 MGE Scenario, Feb 2004.

Vendetta II is a reworking of last year's Vendetta sceanrio, and I hope y'all like the facelift!

Again, welcome to the nightmarish world of 1980, where the 3rd Reich had survived, and the USA had fallen.
The aim of the scenario remains the same, destroy everyone, and take over the planet with your ideology.

But you must do it in ten years! 
Get your MBT running!


We have two big evil super-civs with a supporting cast of vying minor powers.

Say howdy to this nasty bunch:

The United Federation of America (playable)
*The nation formerly the known as the USA*

The Eternal Reich of Germania (playable)
*A dire alliance of Euro-Axis power*

The Red Empire (playable)
*A worldwide terrorist organisation*

The Pan-African Coalition. (playable)
*A huge religious revolutionary movement*

The Australian Federation. (playable)
*A growing South Pacific power*

The Pacific Alliance. (playable)
*A council of Asian regions headed by China*

The Global Economic Union. (not playable)
*Think Enron with an army*

Each have their own special units, or even improvements, and each specialise in a type of warfare.
All minor civs have a special mission, in addition to the general one of survival.

Missions...
UFA - Annihilate all rivals!
Eternal Reich - Annihilate all rivals!
PAC - Conquer Afrcia!
AUSCOM - Dominate the Pacific!
GEU - Blast all terrorists, hold onto Africa!
Pacific Alliance - Annihilate all rivals!
Red Empire - Take back Western Russia!

That's is all I am saying, play and find out!

About combat, use jets and artillery to blast the enemy swine, then follow up with the lads!
Also copters can be useful for armour busting, and larger warships can annihilate the enemy.
Beware of AA/SAM units, they are deadly, it is best to use rocket artillery to kill these...
Nukes are an obvious danger, only the mad and ruthless can use these, the cost is great.

Be warned, the UFA and Reich are both powerhouses and can crush thier enemies with ease.

Only by developing nukes and a good airforce, will you have a chance in a war with these powers.

The world is full of terrorist 'rouge nations', so give this 'evil axis' what they deserve!
Beware, when playing as the UFA or Reich, you will be punished for losing vital units!

Now you can send freight trade trucks to cities to boost cash and science. 

Don't say Curt ain't good to ya!

There are many tech areas to look into, weapons, economy, science, civilian and social.

How you formulate the destiny of your superpower is up to you...But you choices will be crucial.

Most new weapon systems require research in order to make a more powerful army/navy/ ariforce.
Jets, tanks and nuke missiles are all there to improve on, victory lies with the best armaments.

*You will suffer heavily at the hands of the UFA and Reich if you have a poor military - Beware!*

So stop cowering, soldier!
